Edward H. Pendergast, PEG Director, CPA, and Workshop Leader

In addition to his work at MGI, Ed leads Pendergast & Company which helps clients develop and implement financial strategies. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), an Accredited Business Valuator (ABV) and a Corporate Financial Consultant. He works with clients to assist them in taking their businesses public, to develop strategic alliances, and to provide fair market valuation of businesses.  He also assists in key negotiations. He consults with family owned businesses to address the issues specific to family owned businesses. He directs the firm’s activities in the purchase, sale or other transfers of ownership.

Ed also is a member of the Commercial Panel of the American Arbitration Association, past president of both the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Smaller Business Association of New England. He serves as a Director of many companies, including 2 public companies, and is Chairman of the Board of a public company. Ed has a B.S. in Accounting, an M.S. in Taxation, and a C.A.G.S. in Business and is a graduate of the Owner President Program of the Harvard Business School.
